Lori Loughlin, Mossimo Giannulli Movies To $9.5 Million House In Hidden Hills
Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli have shifted in a new house. The fashion designer and the 56-year-old actress have decided to downsize to a new house that's worth $9.5 million. The new home is located in Hidden Hills, California.
The couple's new house has nine bathrooms and six bedrooms while it is situated at Ashley Ridge, which is known for being a posh area in Hidden Hills. A source confirmed to ET the place is amazing for celebrities as it ensures their safety.
In fact, the community provides an immense amount of privacy in the neighborhood. Isidora and Tomer Fridman from the real estate company, Compass had represented the listing. Arvin Haddad from The Agency acted as a representative of the duo.
The outlet was informed in July that the couple had put their Bel-Air house for sale. Giannulli and Loughlin have asked for $28.65 million initially. The negotiation was in process and eventually, the property was sold.
However, a source confirmed to the outlet that the duo didn't receive the amount they asked for originally. Although the sale made the couple adequate profit and was glad about the deal they made. As per the source, the couple had multiple offers considered for their Spanish fashioned home.
The decision of moving to a new house that is less expensive was made after three months of pleading guilty. Giannulli and Loughlin made headlines a few months back for the college scandal that involved a heavy bribe. However, their next sentence will be given on Aug. 21.
Reportedly, Giannulli and Loughlin paid $500,000 as a bribe to ensure that their daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade get admission to the University of Southern California. They wanted their daughters to be a part of the crew team but they were never being involved in any sport before.
The couple denied all the charges against them and pleaded not guilty initially. In fact, Giannulli and Loughlin claimed that the money transferred to the university was a donation. Once the couple was pleaded guilty, Loughlin accepted paying $150,000 fine and two months of prison along with supervised released for two years. She also agreed to do community service for 100 hours.
On the other hand, Giannulli is supposed to pay $250,000 fine and jailed for five months. The 57-year-old fashionista will also release under supervision for two years while he has to do community service for 250 hours.
