Viola Davis Reveals A Fan Art That Swapped Kylie Jenner's Face In WAP
Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B's latest ribald music video secured an Oscar credibility. Yes, Viola Davis seemed to appreciate the WAP song in her own way. The Academy Award-winner is in love with the latest track so much that she decided to repost two memes created by fans.
In the fan-made images, the visuals were changed hilariously. One of the pictures had replaced Kylie Jenner's body tone and her face with Davis. Jenner had a cameo in the music video, which grabbed many eyeballs and made headlines for its revealing outfit.
Davis took to Instagram to repost this fan-art and asked who did this as a fun question. She found the images so hysterical that she added a crying emoji along with heart-eyed emoji. She also tagged the fan who created the post originally.
Many fans agreed that the long tresses and leopard printed outfit look amazing on the It's Kind of a Funny Story star. Another creation of a fan was also added by Davis that was basically a video edit. The creation was basically adapted from How to Get Away with Murder's scene where the 54-year-old actress' character Annalise Keating is dancing.
The creative fan added the clip that synchronized with Stallion and Cardi B twerking on the beats. Although it became a fun experience for the show's fan who never imagined Keating's character dance to these lyrics.
Interestingly, Davis wasn't the only one who received fan-edits. There were many other celebrities such as Halle Berry, Donald Faison, SZA, and Questlove. Cardi B's fans were glad that Davis came forward following the backlash received for Jenner's appearance in the music video.
However, Davis joined the cinematic universe of WAP and fans couldn't stop praising her on social media. Although there are many people who refused to accept Jenner's cameo in the music video because of her family's Black culture history.
In fact, the petition to remove Jenner from the WAP video has collected more than 63,000 signatures. Cardi B addressed the petition and tweeted without mentioning Jenner's name. She thanked each and every woman featured in the music video and appreciated that they made time for WAP.
“The fact that you made time in your schedules means alot to me! It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential, she tweeted.
