Jin Mori bags the first place in the team from Metropolitan Region. Meanwhile, Han Daewi takes the second spot while Yoo Mira takes the third place after her exemplary performance in the Seoul preliminaries.
The previous episode turns out an emotional rollercoaster ride for the audience mixed with stellar fight sequences. The episode starts with a flashback scene from two years ago, which showcases Daewi’s backstory and why he decided to participate in the tournament. It turns out that his best friend has cancer and he needs money for his treatment.
When he meets Park Mujin, he promises Daewi that if he can qualify the preliminaries with a brutal fight, he can use nanotechnology to cure his friend.
