Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B collaborated for the first time in a music video, WAP. Since the music video released on YouTube has been rocking the trending page. However, things don’t seem to go positive on Twitter.

The latest music track has become a hot topic across the nation for various reasons. The video lasts for four minutes and thirteen seconds but what happened on one minute and forty seconds got outraged on social media.

As soon as the music video reaches the above-mentioned timestamp, the background score reduces and the camera focused on an animal printed figure that looks mysterious. That segment of the video highlighted Kylie Jenner into the frame that eventually caused the entire controversy.

Considering her family history related to Black culture, there are many followers and fans who felt offended due to the cameo performed by the 22-year-old beauty mogul. Megan and Cardi's latest video has become meme material for many creative fans to show their annoyance.

The frustration among the netizen became so intense that eventually, they filed an online petition. Fans appealed to take down the video or remove Jenner's part from the track. It was surprising that the petition received 35,000 signatures within a couple of hours as soon as the link went viral on Twitter.

Cardi B took the matter in her hands and decided to tweet but didn't mention Jenner's name in the post. “The fact that you made time in your schedules means alot to me! It was so important to me to include different women, that are different races and come from different backgrounds but are so powerful and influential,” she tweeted.

However, Jenner didn’t revert or added anything on Twitter but she took Instagram to share behind the scenes footage of the music video. In the off-screen shots, Jenner's mother Kris Jenner could be seen clicking pictures of her daughter from behind the main camera.

The picture revealed many things including her mother's approval for the music video. While the pictures posted by Jenner received more than 8 million likes on Instagram, she captioned the photo as "#WAP". However, Cardi B released a brand new music video after more than a year.

The singer has been occupied by raising her two-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari. The 27-year-old rapper is one of the only rappers in the female category to secure a place at No. 1 position in the Hot 100 list.
