Lady Gaga Accidentally Scratches Ariana Grande's Eye While Rehearsing For 'Rain On Me' Music Video
Much to the delight of her 43 million Instagram followers, Lady Gaga shared a short clip showing how much fun she and Ariana Grande had making the music video for their recently released track entitled "Rain On Me."
Fans of Lady Gaga who follow the singer on Instagram were in for a treat as they got a brief glimpse of some of the fun she and Ariana Grande had while making the music video for their latest track "Rain On Me."
In addition to revealing the fun the two talented singers had during the shoot, this behind-the-scenes footage also revealed how Lady Gaga gave the phrase "paws up," a whole new meaning.
The 34-year-old pop star took to her Instagram account on Thursday to post the behind-the-scenes footage, revealing that she accidentally scratched Grande's eye as they were rehearsing choreography for the well-received song's music video.
"I shanked her with my nail by accident, dancing," Gaga told her choreographer Richard Jackson while Grande, 27, laid on the ground checking out her injured eye in her phone's selfie camera, DailyMail reported.
The "Thank U, Next" singer didn't look too concerned about her injury and even joked that it is an honor that Lady Gaga scratched her eye, adding that she hopes it scars. Gaga interrupted saying she is not going to let Ariana ignore the scratch and called a crew member to bring her some Neosporin.
Grande continues to sweetly tease Gaga about the scratch, and her collaborator accuses her of scratching her heart. They then jokingly wrestle as Grande stop Gaga from putting ointment on her injury, while Gaga points out that she has a scratch on her face, and she can't risk getting infected before the video, urging her to let the "Bang Bang" singer to let her put some Neosporin on it.
Grande responded to the Instagram post using nothing but kind words for the singer, saying she loves her a lot. Shortly after Gaga shared the incident on her Instagram account, Grande uploaded a selfie giving her 197 million Instagram followers a clearer view of her now-infamous scratch on her Instagram Story.
In addition to Ariana's nail scratch, the footage showed the pop singers perfectly dressed for their first day of filming. With a camera hovering over her, Gaga is seen gyrating on a floor soaked with water. Dripping wet, she asks her crew to do her makeup.
