Garcelle Beauvais Says She Won't Return To 'RHOBH' Season 11 If Denise Richards Doesn't
Garcelle Beauvais has finished filming for the first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but there is a slim chance that Bravo's new star might consider returning to the show. Despite being low-key on the hit reality show, Beauvais formed a nice friendship with Denise Richards and aligned herself to the Wild Things star so strongly that she is willing to quit the show if Richards doesn't return for the next season.
Touted as the first Black RHOBH star, Beauvais has garnered huge popularity among viewers. Richards, on the other hand, has been subject to a controversy triggered after Brandi Glanville said she had hooked up with the 49-year-old actress, who continues to deny the allegation.
Even when the drama was going back and forth, Beauvais stayed on her friend's corner while other ladies raised questions about the allegations Glanville made. Beauvais and Richards became friends amid the controversy and their rapport solidified so much that Beauvais now says she will not return for season 11 if her friend refuses to come either, PEOPLE reported.
Opening up about their discussion on SiriusXM Stars, Beauvais said she and Richards discussed her return, adding that she said "I hope so." Beauvais went on to say that she told Richards that if Richards doesn't return for the next season, even she won't come back.
Beauvais is hopeful that Richards will come back for another season, but is a little hesitant after Lisa Rinna warned her about coming back. During the reunion, Rinna told Beauvais that the first season is always nice and pleasant but they come for you in the second season.
Glanville, who sparked the rumor about hooking up with Richards was cut from the reunion at the last minute. Making her appearance on the Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, Glanville said she was slated to do the RHOBH reunion along with the other ladies, and already had the tech rehearsal.
She went to say that she is not a coward who'd resort to canceling, or running away, but is a person who would happily get in there and fight. The Celebrity Big Brother alum explained that Glanville's absence at the reunion was best for the show, as her presence would have stolen focus from other interesting topics.
Glanville was given a chance to listen to her side in a solo interview with Andy Cohen. She noted that they mutually decided that rather going for the reunion, as she was set to do, she would rather sit down separately with Cohen doing a one-on-one, instead.
