Of late, the royals of the royal clan have garnered heaps of praise for their active participation to find solutions to important social issues. Prince William is being praised for his efforts to bring attention to the psychological aspect of sports, on the other side - Prince Harry is on the lookout for a futuristic solution to pollution caused by tourism through his sustainable tourism project Travalyst. Amid all of these social welfare activities going on, the Duchess of Sussex has also decided to come to the forefront.

The Duchess will be a part of the 19th* Represents 2020 Virtual Summit - the summit will be centered around the interviews with prominent women from different walks of life such as art, commerce, journalism, and politics.

As the title suggests, the talks will encompass important social issues from the upliftment of minorities to acceptance of diversity and much more.

Considering what Markle has faced and how she fought through, it seems like the best choice to have her speak on the topics of gender and diversity. In all likelihood, the Duchess has known diversity and to some extent, she has even faced the dismissers of it.

Meghan Markle is one of a kind as far as the royal family is concerned. No other royal lady in the family has been of her origin or race – which made it a big leap forward for the royal family.

According to the controversial royal biography Finding Freedom, the Duchess’s time in the royal palace wasn’t all a bed of roses. Due to her distinctiveness, Markle had to face intense hardships, however, the Duchess stood her ground and made everyone realize that nothing is as important as the sense of originality.

Back to the summit, the Duchess of Sussex has been specially asked to have a discussion with Emily Ramshaw - the founder of positive news outlet The 19th*. Meghan’s appearance will be the closing interview on Friday, Aug. 14.

Since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their first child Archie into the world, they have been more intensely involved in social causes of different natures ranging from the environment to health.

In February, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote on their website SussexRoyal.com that they plan to join hands with aspiring organizations thriving to make a positive change on the humankind. According to Sussexes, their vow to join and complement social organizations takes precedence over creating a new charity of their own.
