Troye Sivan Surprisingly Releases Nostalgic Music Video Of 'Rager Teenager'
As the Australian singer's fans are waiting for the newest mini-album to come out, Troye Sivan stuns the music scene as he drops a piece of the collection.
On August 5 (Wednesday), Sivan releases his newest record titled 'Rager Teenager's' music video described by Billboard as a "moody song" that depicts the Sivan's nostalgic recall of his younger years as an individual who struggled the various puberty setbacks.
According to Billboard, the music video is shot from one angle and point of view as he sophisticatedly sings the track. Sivan styled up to modishly pose in an empty bathtub as he conveyed the song's message through its lyrics. But what's more interesting is that as the music video went on, Sivan's face keeps getting distorted in an undulating visual graphics.
"Hey, my lil rager teenager / Trying to figure it out / Living a season of screaming / And turning it out,' part of the lyric sings.
Recently, the 'Fools' singer graced Zane Lowe's web series on Apple Music called 'At Home With.' Sivan went on talking about the plans and details of hid upcoming extended play 'In A Dream,' and the story behind its making after the success of his 2018 'Bloom' studio album.
As per Sivan, he initially doesn't have any plans to release a mini-album as he was going through something. However, he turned his current situation as his sole inspiration in writing songs that eventually sprung up into an extended play collection,
"I didn't know this EP is such a weird little thing in that all of these songs sound pretty different from each other," he said. Sivan then added that as he goes through the 'In A Dream' songs, he felt like each track is perfect for each other as it was written entirely at the right time.
Aside from chatting about her 'In A Dream' EP, the 'Lucky Strike' singer also grabbed the chance to blurt out his admiration for Taylor Swift's newly released 'Folklore' album confesses that he is "obsessed" with, at the moment.
Sivan praises her dear friend for 'Folklore' and her growth in the music scene that transpires into her albums. As per Sivan, he is an avid fan of Swift's music since her '1989' album.
In a Rolling Stone report, 'In A Dream' will be available for streaming on August 21 that bottles up Sivan's pre-released singles like 'Take Yourself Home,' 'Easy,' and 'Rager Teenager.'
