Megan Thee Stallion Says Beyonce Treats Her Like A Family
The ‘Savage’ rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, is now in Beyonce’s circle of friends. The 25-year-old rapper narrated her closeness with Queen B in an exclusive interview with Variety. In light of the rapper’s appearance at the annual ‘Power of Young Hollywood’ special issue, made known on August 5. Per Hollywood Life, Megan poses at the magazine issue alongside young stars Shira Haas and Maluma as the 2020 cover.
According to Megan’s words, she instantly felt like she knew Beyonce all her life the moment they had their first conversation. The ‘Money Good’ rapper first knew the ‘Halo’ singer and husband rapper Jay-Z at the duo’s 2020 New Year’s Eve celebration. Megan added that Bey treated her like a family, making her feel very at home and ease every time she’s with her. “We talk all the time,” she revealed.
The former Destiny’s Child vocalist and Megan recently teamed up on the rapper’s major hit called ‘Savage.’ Beyonce even sent Megan out a dashing bouquet after the rapper was involved in a shooting incident in Los Angeles last month. The 25-year-old Texas-born artist was inside in a black SUV with rumored boyfriend Tory Lanez when the male rapper shot Megan, causing her to endure multiple wounds to her foot.
For the time being, Lanez’s real motives of shooting Megan is still unknown as the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the crime. In the latter, the female rapper then was seen storming her way out from the van with an injured foot, as caught by a CCTV camera of a nearby house.
Lanez, 27, was rapidly arrested by the police with illegal handling of a weapon charge. The gun is inside the SUV, where the Canadian rapper shot Megan.
Megan Thee Stallion is back
According to Variety, since Megan smashed the hip-hop and rap music scene in 2017 with her ‘Stalli Freestyle,’ the recovered rapper teamed up with the rap queen, Nicki Minaj. The latter is pregnant with her first child set to release an enlivening ‘Hot Gurl Summer’ record with Megan.
Before the shooting incident, Megan graced the 2020 virtual BET Awards, where she stunned the viewers and her fans for her ‘Mad Max’-inspired pre-recorded performance for ‘Savage.’
The BET Awards winner is also a regular judge of HBO Max’s ‘Legendary’ ballroom competition. The show has been renowned for its second season, where Megan is still on.
To date, Megan is continuously recovering from her wounds at her home, but the rapper will dominate the hip-hop scene once again anytime soon.
