Actor Johnny Depp was recently pictured at Surrey at a friend’s place. He has been in news for being involved in a highly-publicized libel trial in the United Kingdom against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Both sides made some stunning claims and counterclaims in the high-profile libel trial, which involves the actor and his ex-wife. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was snapped upon his arrival at a close friend’s home in Surrey over the weekend.

It was just a few days after his volatile libel trial ended in a London court. The 57-year-old Hollywood star was spotted in the company of Ross Halfin, a rock music photographer when he arrived at the friend’s home after moving out of his hotel in London.

Depp stepped out in his trademark style and wore a pair of cuffed jaded jeans and a bandana. He donned a camouflage-print jacket and completed his look by adding many rings and chains.

As the actor stepped out of a plush chauffeur-driven car, he seemed to be holding a lot of things in his hands including a camera and baggage. The Hollywood superstar wore tinted glasses and spoke animatedly outside the property before entering into the property of his friend.

Many people have referred to their intense courtroom battle as “The Trial of the Century”. The actor’s visit to his pal’s abode comes within a week after his former spouse Amber Heard tried to control her tears while making a touching closing statement in the court.

The 34-year-old actress insisted that she traveled to the United Kingdom to testify as the court’s witness to assist in the proceeding. Heard mentioned that she did not file the case though it was significant. She would have preferred to stay away from the court but came down just to testify.

Heard added that it has been distressful for her to rewind through her broken relationship. She found it remorseful when her truth and motives were questioned and their private details were discussed all over the world.

The actress expressed her faith in the justice of Britain and stood by her testimony. She also voiced her appreciation for the support and dedication of the defense team and her US and UK lawyers.

She thanked the police and court staff for their kindness and diligence. Heard feels they have all been sensitive to ensure her protection so that she could testify in the court without any kind of fears, Daily Mail reports.

As of now, lawyers of Johnny Depp, as well as, Amber Heard have already produced evidence of the former couple’s relationship. The actor filed the defamation lawsuit against The Sun publication that referred to him as a wife-beater in one of their articles. The verdict is likely to come out in early September, Cinema Blend reports.
