Kanye West is, allegedly, contemplating giving up rapping and take up painting as his alternative career. That is what a report claimed in April this year. Also, reports insist that the rapper and Kim Kardashian are all set to go on a family getaway to salvage their relationship. 

Speculations are rife that West is thinking of quitting music and focus on painting instead. A report published in the month of April did not mention though whether the musician wanted to switch career out of boredom or creative struggle. 

The same magazine quoted one of West’s family friends who feel that the only thing the rapper loves apart from music is to dabble in the field of visual arts. It seems West always loved painting and was interested in visual arts.

The so-called friend also insisted that even when he composes his music, he is able to visualize it. The source even went to the extent of claiming that West has the potentiality to achieve the artistic perfection of Picasso. 

At the same time, the outlet reported that the insider mentions that the rapper might face challenges to achieve his dream because of the polarized streak in his personality. The tabloid also said that some of his works have been valued at an estimated price of “tens of thousands of dollars.”

Although Kanye West’s current health condition is not good, his focus in music apart from projects such as artwork is quite evident. However, just because he likes artwork does not mean he is thinking of giving up music. 

It could be possible that the magazine is exaggerating the sentiments of a family friend who is proud of West’s creative accomplishments. The friend could be impressed to see the boy she knew becoming one of the most popular artists of the world, Gossip Cop reports. 

While nothing can be said with certainty about the rapper’s future plans, the tabloid did not come up with concrete pieces of evidence to prove their story. Rather, the story seems to be fabricated and was published to grab the attention of the readers.
