A now-viral Twitter video with more than six million views appears to show actor Ezra Miller choking a woman and pushing her onto the ground, NBC News reports.

The 27-year-old star of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “Justice League” is supposedly the man in the seven-second video circulating on the internet. In the video, a man asks a young woman if she wants to fight, which the woman appears to take as a joke. However, the man grabs her by the neck and pushes her into the ground.

While there has been no confirmation from Miller’s camp, a source at the Prikid Kaffihus, where the video was filmed identifies the man in the video as Miller. The Prikid Kaffihus said that they had to escort an angry Miller off the premises.

Variety says that they have confirmed that the incident did happen at Prikid Kafffihus on Apr. 1 around six in the evening. The bar is located in central Reykjavik, Iceland, and is supposed to be one of Miller’s favorite haunts when he is in the city.

Miller was catapulted into mainstream fame by his roles in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” and “Justice League.” Miller played Credence Barebone in the “Fantastic Beasts” films and Barry Allen/The Flash in “Justice League.”

Miller’s breakout role was playing the violent Kevin Khatchadourian in the 2011 film “We Need to Talk About Kevin.” His other notable roles include playing Patrick in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” Leon Dupuis in “Madame Bovary,” and Daniel Culp in “The Stanford Prison Experiment.”

While Miller has no previous record of violent behavior, he has had a previous encounter with the police.

As reported by Contactmusic, Miller was apprehended back in 2011 for marijuana possession. Miller was filming “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” when he was stopped by New Jersey traffic police and was caught holding “brown, vegetable material.” A judge dropped the earlier charge of drug possession leveled against him and instead gave him two citations of disorderly conduct and a $600 fine.

A New York magazine profile has him admit to marijuana possession, saying that he does not see the need to hide his smoking of marijuana. Miller even called the drug “a harmless herbal substance.”

Back in 2012, Miller came out as a queer man and also admitted to being interested in kissing boys even at a young age. He also said he identifies as neither a man nor a woman and uses they/them pronouns.
