It may seem like the world is against her, but beleaguered talk show host Ellen DeGeneres still has people on her side. The most recent person to voice her support for DeGeneres is her own wife, Portia de Rossi.

Entertainment Weekly reports that de Rossi expressed her support for her wife on Instagram, posting an image that said “I Stand By Ellen” and captioning it with a message of gratitude for their fans who have remained supportive of them.

Aside from the message, de Rossi also used the hashtags #IStandWithEllenDeGeneres, #IStandByEllen, and #IStandByEllenDeGeneres. She also used the hashtag #stopbotattacks, which is probably meant to imply that the attacks on her wife are boosted by online bots.

Page Six notes that the spate of allegations that have come out against DeGeneres has been going around for quite some time now, starting with a tweet back in May that alleged that the talk show host was the “meanest people alive.”

The tweet gathered thousands of responses that detailed alleged bad behavior from DeGeneres. Ben Simeon, a writer for television, claimed DeGeneres picked someone to hate every day. The chosen person would have to endure the harassment until DeGeneres picks another person the next day.

The allegations culminated in a Buzzfeed report that featured allegations of a toxic work environment on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, with former staffers reporting incidents of racism as well as being refused leaves to attend funerals or take care of their mental health.

Shortly after the report, WarnerMedia announced that it would conduct an internal investigation in response. DeGeneres and the producers of her show have both come out with statements claiming responsibility for the show’s toxic work environment and promising to do better moving forward.

The apologies, however, have not stopped more allegations of DeGeneres’ bad behavior. DeGeneres’ celebrity colleagues Brad Garrett and Lea Thompson have both testified to the talk show host’s alleged bad behavior in separate tweets.

Neil Breen, an Australian talk show host and former executive producer for Today Australia also detailed how difficult it was to work with DeGeneres. According to him, DeGeneres’ demands kept changing while they were arranging the specifics of how they would work together, with the show producers ending up having to fly out to Melbourne at their own expense to conduct a sit-down interview.

Breen also claimed that the crew were forbidden to talk, approach, or even look at DeGeneres during the shoot. Breen also alleged that DeGeneres’ crew were laughing so loudly at her every joke that they had to be reminded an interview was being conducted.
