Meghan Markle and Harry are reportedly panicking about their tough financial future. As they live the comforts of the palace (at least financially and materially), a royal expert claims the two are losing sleep over what to do now. As coronavirus further plunges ordinary people into financial uncertainties, Meghan and Harry have to think fast since they too are now considered ordinary, financially independent beings. 

According to Omid Scobie, a royal contributor for ABC, Meghan and Harry are just starting their post-Megxit lives, but they are already dealing with so many troubles. One sign that they are not doing well financially is the fact that they have yet to start a foundation. The question is, will they ever? Can they ever? Scobie claimed that they have financial concerns so a charity will naturally be bad timing. 

Speaking to the HeirPod, Scobie said that the two are also very conscious of the fact that they have to shoulder their security from now on. The security they entail is not cheap and can cost them hundreds of millions of dollars. 

In January, the Sussexes revealed that they would like to step down as senior members of the royal family. Additionally, they expressed the desire to split their time between North America and the U.K, mentioning the fact that included in their plans is to have a new charity. 

“This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity,” said the duke and duchess in an official statement.

No doubt, though, that the two are now struggling with the Post-Megxit world they are faced with. Not only do they have to start from scratch and build their portfolios, but they also have to contend with days in lockdown and quarantine. Coronavirus certainly put a damp in their plans right now, and their dwindling finances might certainly be a cause of worry.

Some malicious reports have it that Meghan Markle is already being a diva and demanding to work with A-list directors while others have branded Prince Harry as a "rootless royal." They claimed that Prince Harry would not ever find a job because he was a royal who does not have “employable” skills anyway.
