Rihanna Talks About Her RiRi-approved Products
Rihanna revealed a few weeks back that she is concentrating on her upcoming beauty line while music is always in her mind. Good news for her fans as the skincare line called Fenty Skin is available since July 31.
Rihanna explained that she wanted to create products different from the market. The beauty mogul considered all types of skin and tones to ensure that the products will help the users.
Before applying the makeup products of Fenty Beauty that was launched by the singer in 2017, users can prep the face with Fenty Skin. Products such as Gloss Bomb and Match Stix that are RiRi approved items. It seemed to be a great deal for Fenty fanatics as they get Rihanna plus clear skin.
The Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets star featured in a video that was released on brand's official YouTube channel. The star explained the details of the new line of products that they are all vegan and clean.
Rihanna told that the ingredients involved in the process are natural such as fig, Kalahari melon, and Barbados cherry mixed with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide that are important for any skincare product.
"They feel like they can see themselves on the shelves, on the campaigns and even in sizes in my lingerie line, so with skincare, we're going to do the same thing. We want these products to work for all skin types and of course all skin tones," Rihanna said.
Rihanna made Sean Garrett brand ambassador and explained that she wanted this product line to be absolutely neutral for all genders. She said that appointing a man as an ambassador of Fenty Skin is essential as men are usually afraid of using any skincare product.
Rihanna wants to break the myth of skincare products associated with women only. Fenty Skin products are developed with the help of Rihanna's personal experience and knowledge regarding skin. Even previously launched line for makeup turned out to be an instant boom in the market.
The star admitted that she suffered because of harsh products on her skin that made it look blotchy. However, Rihanna seemed to have taken matters in her own hand and created products that remain gentle to users' skin.
The star agreed that this is a new industry and as a result, it requires a fresh outlook. Although Rihanna ought to keep her products as simple as possible.
