The ultimate Digimon is set to attack Taichi and company in the new episode of the anime. Digimon Adventure Episode 9 to showcase Taichi and his friends against some of the finest Digimon. The ninth episode is titled The Ultimate Digimon Attacks.

The makers released the official trailer after airing Episode 8 and it hints a fight between Greymon and Orgemon.

“A one-on-one battle between Orgemon and Greymon! That’s one when they are attacked by the most powerful Digimon yet! The adventure continues to a new world,” reads the preview for Digimon Adventure Episode 9.

Apart from the trailer, the official summary of Episode 9 is also out, which is shared by Twitter user Wikimon.

The synopsis suggests Taichi, Sora, and others get inside the fortress and get intel about the Holy Digimon. They learn that the Holy Digimon is held as a prisoner in the fortress.

Meanwhile, Orgemon, who lost a fight against Greymon in their past encounter, becomes wild for a rematch and ends up attacking them.

Later, he goes on to challenge Greymon for a duel. Soon, the ground of the fortress turns into a massive battlefield for two of the finest Digimon against each other.

As the battle progresses, it becomes quite intense. Both Greymon and Orgemon are not in a mood to back down. However, things become complicated when a team of Coredramon controlled by Soundbirdmon decides to launch an attack.

It becomes difficult for Sora and others as it is an aerial attack. Since the fortress is a closed complex, Sora and her friends will have to find a safe spot to protect themselves from any harm. It will be interesting to see who will save them this time.

Digimon Adventure Episode 9 will be releasing on Saturday, Aug. 1. Viewers can watch the episode online through live streaming mode on Crunchyroll. Currently, the installments are streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.
