Madonna Admits Still Uses Crutches Following Her Knee Injury From Paris Tour, Hopeful Of Dancing Soon: Report
Pop icon Madonna is yet to recover completely after succumbing to a knee injury while she was on a tour to Paris in February this year. The actress had to cancel many performances after sustaining the injury.
Meanwhile, the songstress recently took to her Instagram page and revealed that she has to still walk on crutches even though she was injured five months earlier. However, she is still hopeful of dancing soon.
The Frozen hitmaker shared a mashup clip from her Insta fan account, which shows the pop star roller skating from her music video of 2005.
She reposted the same clip mentioning that it makes her feel positive that she will soon be able to walk once again without her crutches. She is also hopeful to roller skate and dance soon.
The singer also mentioned how much she misses being the “Dancing Queen.” For the universe, she was performing in Paris and fell off a chair all of a sudden. The fall injured her knee that she had already injured earlier and was spotted using a stick for support while walking, Daily Mail reports.
It seems the singer had a fall after she missed a chair by mistake. The show began on Sept 17, 2019, in NYC and was slated to end on March 11 in Paris. Eventually, she had to cancel 14 shows in total including her maiden performance in the French capital because of her severe injuries that caused her tremendous pain.
However, she later said she regards herself as a fighter. She does not believe in giving in or quitting. She has realized her pain was actually an alert and her body was signaling her to take some rest.
Madonna also mentioned that she needs to do rehab for six hours regularly after sustaining her injury. She thinks her recovery this far has been a “miracle” in itself so that she could continue up to that part of the tour.
Her most recent album came out in June this year and made a debut in the Billboard 200 album charts. The Into The Groove hitmaker took to Instagram to reveal how she had a fall on the stage while performing when a chair was pulled out from her by mistake.
Madonna mentioned in March this year that she could only complete the show because she did not like disappointing her fans and audiences. However, she realized that she needed to take some rest for a couple of days so that she could complete the tour as planned, People magazine reports.
