Queen Elizabeth Allegedly Struggled To Trust Kate Middleton Because Of ‘Outsider’ Princess Diana
Queen Elizabeth, allegedly, had a hard time trusting Kate Middleton when the latter first joined the royal family.
According to Closer USA, the queen was so traumatized by what Princess Diana did to the royal family. As such, she had fears that Middleton would do the same. After all, both female royals are outsiders.
“She became cautious about outsiders marrying into the royal family. It took time for her to warm to Kate, and it’s very probable that she’s made notes about this,” the source said.
The queen, allegedly, has a secret diary when she pours out all her thoughts every night. The diary is kept and locked in a place that only Prince Philip knows about.
Her Majesty’s diary is so private that only the Duke of Edinburgh had access to it. But the insider claimed to know what the queen has written since she was crowned as queen decades ago.
“Her diary is deemed almost as valuable as the crown jewels. She has likely written about her private meetings with Diana and how her efforts to guide her as the queen consort backfired when the princess began to rebel,” the source said.
According to the insider, the queen must have also written about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to quit The Firm. The monarch, allegedly, felt betrayed by the Sussexes, and she was also incredibly concerned about the Duke of Sussex.
“People would pay millions to get their hands on her diary, but it’ll never happen,” the source said.
Last year, The Sun also shared details about the queen’s secret diaries. A source said that Her Majesty uses a pad of blotting paper after her entry. And every morning, she asks her staff to get rid of the blotting paper to make sure that no one would have access to what she wrote.
The insider also said that the queen doesn’t miss a night and she writes in her diary every single day even when she’s traveling.
“The diary is taken with her wherever she is staying, whether it be Windsor or Sandringham or Balmoral, and is kept in a black leather case – a smaller version of one of the red despatch boxes containing Government papers. But, there are only two keys – the spare one is kept strictly as an emergency back-up by her private secretary,” the source said.
