BTS Confirms New English Song Next Month: 'We Can’t Wait To Share This Song'
A new BTS song is on the way!
The South Korean all-boy group, BTS, has confirmed the news of their upcoming English song set to be released next month. The idols have generously shared their plans on one of their V LIVE audio live streams, saying that they incline to share a “positive energy” to everyone, especially their fans who are going on through “tough times” because of the global discord caused by the coronavirus.
“We have prepared a new single for ARMY, set for August 21,” BTS said in a statement revealed on their official Weverse account.
The Korean megastars are fueling their engine up for their new music release as it holds a special meaning to each of the members. In the middle of interacting with their fans virtually, BTS, consisting of Suga, J-hope, RM, V, Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook, shockingly revealed the matter, making the fans excitingly anticipate the new song.
A report by NME writes that BTS is set in dropping their next album by the second half of this year, but the band wholly wants to pre-release a single first as they wanted to possibly reach out to their beloved ARMYs as soon as they can.
BTS also further explained that due to the coronavirus pandemic, all people, if not all, have been battling with difficult times. The sad reality led them to come up in sharing good vibes and a hopeful song to those who need it.
According to Pitchfork, the upcoming song will tag along in an upbeat jive style, just like the group’s previous tracks ‘Waste It on Me’ and ‘MIC DROP,’ which features the remixing skills of Steve Aoki.
Moreover, the seven lads also revealed that they recorded the song’s guide version and quickly felt that the song sounded great in English, making it “totally new and fresh.” Per BTS, the song is their much-needed breakthrough during this crisis as it challenges them in coming up with the best craft.
The title of the upcoming BTS track is still unknown, at the moment.
Shortly after BTS’ huge announcement, their home management, Big Hit Entertainment, confirmed and backed the matter by making a follow-up announcement. Big Hit Entertainment took on the band’s official Weverse account by writing a massive thank you to all ARMYs who never stopped supporting and showing affection for their idols. The agency also asked for the ARMY’s undying support for the band’s new English song.
