While there have been some reports about Amal Clooney and George Clooney expecting twins once again, the news appears to be false and fabricated. Also, contrary to speculations, their marriage is not in trouble. 

Less than a year ago, it was reported by a tabloid that the couple was about to have a second set of twins. In July last year, the magazine wrote that they were to have a boy and a girl after having twin daughters a couple of years ago. 

The same dubious report also mentioned that Amal was into the first trimester of her pregnancy. It alleged that she would only announce her pregnancy to the world after completing five to six months of her pregnancy.

An anonymous insider apparently told the magazine that the actor plans to take a temporary leave from his acting career so that he could devote quality time with his kids. The source further revealed that the celebrity couple was on the verge of getting divorced because George Clooney loved partying hard with his friend. 

The alleged insider added that the pregnancy did damage control to their troubled marriage. The suspicious tipster also mentioned how the actor requested Barack Obama, the former President of the United States to be their supposed twin’s godparent. 

However, both these stories are entirely bogus. Nine months have passed since the pregnancy report and the couple has not had twins again. The actor did not take leave because he shot for his film “The Midnight Sky” during this period. Plus, The Clooneys have said time and again that they do not have plans to have more kids.

Additionally, there was no proof that their marriage was in trouble ever.  The Sun had reported how the Hollywood star has slammed claims about their marriage was on the verge of collapse after he had a huge argument with his wife Amal Clooney. 

A magazine had claimed that Amal left their Sardinia home with their twins following a huge row. However, the star had categorically said that “the story is made up.”

Meanwhile, the Hollywood star has ruled himself out of the presidential race of 2020. George said that he lacks the skills required to become the President of the United States. 

The actor-activist has publicly criticized Donald Trump, the current President of the United States ever since the latter took charge in 2016. His frequent criticism has led many to believe that the actor could run for the 2020 Presidential elections, The Economic Times reports.

The tabloid Gossip Cop has also been quick to dispel all these silly rumors about George Clooney and Amal Clooney. As mentioned earlier, the couple confirmed of not having more babies after they welcomed their twins.
