Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, allegedly, followed Prince William and Middleton’s footsteps by changing their name on their Twitter account.

Last week, royal fans noticed how the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall changed the name on their social media accounts. Initially, the royal couple’s account was listed as Clarence House.

But following last week’s changes, Prince Charles and Camilla’s social media account is now listed as The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

According to New Idea, the reason behind the sudden change of social media account name remains unknown. But it’s evident that Prince Charles and Camilla are copying Prince William and Middleton.

Weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also changed their social media handle from Kensington Palace to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

As of late, Prince Charles and Camilla have not changed the name on the Instagram account.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie recently shared their thoughts on why the Cambridges changed their Twitter handle on the Royally Obsessed podcast.

“Basically, I think I know one of the reasons for the name change of Prince William and Kate's Instagram. One of the reasons could be that your name, not your handle now shows up in your direct messages. I was confused as mine is still saying the handle, but I had to update mine up, so I did that,” Bowie said.

“Now on [Wills and Kate’s] Instagram, it doesn't say Kensington Royal, it says the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in their direct messages,” Fiorito replied.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camilla also made headlines recently amid claims that they are on the brink of divorce.

According to Globe, the Duchess of Cornwall is suffering from liver cancer due to her excessive drinking. And she, allegedly, asked Prince Charles to use his connections so that he could be at the top of the transplant list.

However, the heir to the throne, allegedly, refused to help his wife because he wants her dead. After all, Camilla has, allegedly, been threatening to expose Prince Charles’ secrets during their divorce proceeding.

An unnamed source said that Prince Charles doesn’t want to lose his millions in his divorce battle against Camilla. As such, he wants his wife to die before she could even file for divorce.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Charles doesn’t want Camilla to die, and the latter isn’t suffering from liver cancer.
