The former 3LW member's husband singer Israel Houghton said she had got in touch with Braxton. Braxton was found unresponsive by her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in L.A. last Thursday where they were staying. The L.A.P.D. (Los Angeles Police Department) told ET last Friday that the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, located in downtown Los Angeles called them around 9:45 p.m the night before.
The police say the call was regarding a medical emergency and an individual was rushed to the hospital, adding that details about the person's condition were still scarce. A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson told ET that they acted in response to a call at 9:57 p.m. on Thursday night for a report about an unconscious adult female.
Braxton's friend, NeNe Leakes has revealed on Saturday that she is getting the help that she needs to recover. Braxton and Houghton co-hosted The Real together along with Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, and Tamera Mowry-Housley for three years before Braxton's exit from the show in 2016.
