Kylie Minogue Is Back, Fifteenth Studio Album Revealed
The 52-year-old pop superstar, Kylie Minogue, has announced her comeback debut album since her 2018 LP Golden release. The singer took on her social media accounts to confirm the news.
On July 21 (Tuesday), Minogue posted a twelve-second video clip, teasing her fans for her upcoming album's art cover. "Are you waiting for me to SAY SOMETHING???" Minogue wrote, then adding to reveal that his forthcoming DISCO album is set to be released on November 6. However, the good news doesn't stop there, Minogue also confirmed the upcoming album's lead single titled Say Something is due July 23, this Thursday at 00:01 BST.
At the same time, as the new track's launch, DISCO will be available for pre-order.
The short video clip that Minogue shared with her fans is the artwork cover for DISCO, which gives prominence to Minogue's 70's looks. She is glammed in the era's fashion style: glam rock dress, blue eyeshadow, 70's disco curls, and a lot of fierceness and attitude on her face.
According to Billboard, two other artists have also released the same title of Minogue's upcoming album: Grace Jones in 2015 and Pet Shop Boys in 1986.
In a report by NME, the Australian-British pop icon has teased her fans about her plans to release an album before the year ends. In a statement by Minogue, she shared that her fifteenth album contains disco contents.
Before Minogue was about to break the good news, the fans were swift to read between the lines as Minogue's DISCO album's art cover circulated in social media after Amazon posted the product. Shortly, Minogue spilled the beans herself, that earned the fan's exciting reactions.

Minogue was very open about her upcoming album release. In fact, in May, The Loco-Motion singer shared on how the lockdowns caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic have been essential and "beneficial" for her health. Since she is at her home comforts all the time, it made her appreciate the talent she possesses and how it is an excellent opportunity to create an album. Per Minogue, the lockdowns made almost all the people show and discover creative skills in anyways.
DISCO will be Minogue's fifteenth studio album since her Kylie album debut in 1988. She is also the most sought female Australian artist of all time, renowned as the "Princess of Pop." She is also a songwriter and an actress at the same time.
