Kate Middleton recently admitted that going back to work has been hard for her.

For three months, the Duchess of Cambridge spent most of her time with Prince William and their three children. However, Middleton and her husband recently returned to their royal duties.

Earlier this month, Middleton launched BBC’s Tiny Happy People initiative, which provides free resources to parents. The initiative is supported by the Royal Foundation.

While at the event, the future queen consort said that she wished she’d had the same support that other parents are receiving when she became a mom for the first time.

“So much focus, particularly during pregnancy and when you have a newborn baby, is

the physical development. But what I found was missing was the support on how to further their emotional and mental development,” she said.

Middleton also said that there were some aspects of the recent lockdown that have been positive. This includes spending more time with her kids at home. However, this has also been equally stressful for her.

And now that she must go back to work, the Duchess of Cambridge is having a hard time leaving her kids at home.

“How do you extend that umbilical cord from having had that precious time together? I know from a personal perspective – having all that extra time together as a family, but then being able to step back again and go back to how things were – it’s really hard for lots of families,” she said.

Middleton and Prince William quarantined in Anmer Hall with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. On several occasions, the royal couple appeared in video interviews.

During those video interviews, Middleton has shared a lot of information about her three young kids. For instance, she recently revealed that Prince Louis doesn’t understand the concept of social distancing. The toddler, reportedly, loves to hug everything and everyone.

The Duchess of Cambridge previously said that homeschooling Prince George and Princess Charlotte was quite difficult.

There were, reportedly, times wherein Prince George would get upset because he wants to do Princess Charlotte’s schoolwork. After all, Princess Charlotte’s schoolwork involves making spider sandwiches, while his assignments are more advanced.

Prince George celebrated his 7th birthday today. And the Cambridges commemorated it by sharing an adorable photo of the future king on social media. The snap was taken by Middleton.
