Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani To Premiere 'Happy Anywhere' Duet
It seems fans will soon get a treat to witness the musical couple, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton together, again. Shelton will drop the latest duet with his girlfriend, Stefani. The 44-year-old country singer will collaborate for Happy Anywhere with his girlfriend this weekend.
The new single will be performed by the couple on Today show that will telecast on the weekend. The Who Are You When I'm Not Looking singer is going to sing about gratification in his life. The singer will emphasize on this track about being happy as long as his girl is with him.
Earlier this year, Shelton and the 50-year-old star performed together in an album called Nobody But You. Shelton revealed that the upcoming single is going to be extremely relevant to the people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shelton admitted that even after releasing an album earlier this year, he and Stefani decided to go ahead and release another one considering the circumstances. Shelton further said that this year is different for everyone and it’s a perfect time for this single to be released, Happy Anywhere.
Shelton mentioned in his press release that everyone has been quarantining and under the lockdown for months. He hopes that everyone has someone special in their life during this difficult time. Shelton expressed the need to be around your loved ones and people whom you enjoy the most.
The Country Music Association Award winner gave an example of him and Stefani staying together during the summer and in fact, the entire 2020. Shelton will be seen on July 25 collaborating with Encore Drive-In Nights to host a cinematic concert event, which is going to be for one night only.
The event will feature singer Trace Adkins along with Stefani, who acknowledged that it is the best way to spend quality time with your friends and family. He also told that it is a great plan to stay home and safe.
"I'm excited we're getting the chance to perform a concert for fans, and we're going to go back and play old hits like 'Austin,' newer songs like 'God's Country,' and we might even introduce something brand-new! So fill up those popcorn tubs and get ready for some country music," he added.
The first single released by the couple this year was blockbuster on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. It was the first country genre chart-hits for Shelton's popstar girlfriend.
