Meghan Markle, allegedly, continues to pursue a career in Hollywood.

According to New Idea, Markle has her eyes set on a possible sexy and edgy psychological thriller. And she, allegedly, wants to team up with disgraced creative genius Matthew Newton.

An unnamed source said that the Duchess of Sussex likes the idea of working with someone who also has a dark past. But Newton is also someone who has rehabilitated himself so Markle wants to work with him.

“She also likes the thought of using her fame to give someone a second chance,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Markle is planning to set a meeting with Newton in New York. And during their meeting, she would share her ideas for an edgy indie production.

Prince Harry’s wife, allegedly, thinks that this kind of genre is lacking in Hollywood so it could increase her status as an actress.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. While Markle’s supporters may be excited to see her acting again, the former royal is still busy with her other engagements.

She and Prince Harry just relocated to Los Angeles in March. And due to the coronavirus pandemic, they haven’t done much during their time in the United States.

Meanwhile, other tabloids are also saying that Markle will most definitely try her hand in acting again while she’s in Los Angeles.

Last year, Woman’s Day claimed that Markle and Reese Witherspoon were teaming up for a TV show. Back then, a source said that Witherspoon was writing a script for a TV show and she wants Markle to play the lead role.

Witherspoon also, allegedly, reached out to Markle and asked if they can meet to discuss the project. But an entire year has passed and no such project has been announced by both personalities.

Earlier this year, New Idea claimed that Markle was seeking Tom Cruise’s help so she could have her much-desired Hollywood comeback. However, Cruise and Markle were never in contact with each other.

Heat also said that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie were fighting over Markle. The A-listers, allegedly, want to team up with the Duchess of Sussex.

And since Aniston and Jolie are, allegedly, sworn enemies, they want to make sure that they will get Markle’s Yes. However, this isn’t entirely true either.

Aniston and Jolie don’t know Markle personally. And they haven’t tried reaching out to her for a possible collaboration.
