Kate Middleton, Prince William Share Call Content With NHS Workers, Praise Their Efforts
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton shared the content of their call with the NHS workers on social media. The future monarch and his lovely wife thanked these workers for their tireless efforts.
The Duke of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cambridge took to Twitter and shared the content of their call with some key workers of NHS. They tweeted while the entire nation applauded the relentless efforts of the healthcare workers.
Middleton and William rang up Queen’s Hospital Burton on Wednesday to also express their condolences to the staff for the deceased doctor Amged El-Hawrani. The country has witnessed thousands of deaths after people contracted the pandemic virus.
Dr. El-Hawrani was an ENT surgeon who passed away at Leicester Royal Infirmary after contracting the deadly virus from his patients. Hawrani was the first doctor in the United Kingdom who contracted the virus and died after succumbing to it.
An ENT consultant called Adrian Thompson said that he knew the deceased doctor for more than a decade professionally. Hawrani used to be a colleague and a close friend of his. Thompson added that the deceased ENT surgeon was highly revered by everyone who knew him.
Meanwhile, The Duke of Cambridge said that he and his wife told the workers how proud they feel about the efforts put by the latter. He also added that the workers are doing an amazing job in the given adverse circumstances.
Prince William mentioned in his call that he is aware of the fact that health workers treat this as their job. However, the Duke stated that it is a different level altogether and the workers are doing a fantastic job.
The future king also mentioned that the entire country feels proud of their hard work. People are full of praises for the NHS for its continuous hard work during the breakout of the coronavirus pandemic, Express reports.
