While waiting for his newest EP to come out, the Australian singer, Troye Sivan, dropped his forthcoming EP's single Easy music video.

On a Thursday afternoon (July 16), Sivan unleashed his melancholic Easy music video. The video sings of Sivan's heartache, which is appealing for his beloved to stay in their relationship. The video sets in a gloomy mansion that adds up to the melancholia and sorrow Sivan is portraying. Sivan plays with sadness that he feels by walking around the massive hall by moping around for his lover's explanation.

"you ran away to find something to say / I went astray to make it okay / and he made it easy, darlin," Sivan sings, showing a deep emotion on his face.

In the mid-part of the music video, Sivan takes a TV break, watching an "80's inspired music video" [Billboard] that stars himself. Sivan suits up in a David Bowie-style get up with a blazing red wig, and some yellow make-up patterned in his face. Alongside Sivan is a pair of drag queens holding a guitar and tagging along Sivan's music.

As the music video nears its conclusion, Sivan tragically yields to the excruciating fact of losing his lover, leading the 25-year-old singer to lit himself in flames after being overshadowed by a falling mirror.

As the final chorus sings, Sivan threw himself in the mansion's deep indoor pool, bearing all the pain from his lover's walkout.

Anyone experiencing the same suffering with Sivan, who watched the music video, will fall into the song's deep emotional distress. Check out Troye Sivan's Easy music video below.

Sivan's much-awaited Easy track was already hinted on his official Instagram account by sharing video snippets of the track – bits are from the music video itself.

Easy was released by Sivan on Wednesday (July 15), together with the Bloom singer's announcement that he will now be sharing his all-new EP titled In A Dream. The Capitol Records produced EP will be made available in various digital streaming platforms on August 21, New Now Next reported.

In a previous report, In A Dream will be Sivan's first release since his Bloom album in 2018.

In A Dream bottles up six tracks, title tracks includes Take Yourself Home, Easy, Could Cry Just Thinking About You, Rager Teenager!, and Stud. Four of which are unreleased, and two are pre-released.

Earlier this year, Sivan releases Take Yourself Home that was followed by his live performance of the song together with a live band.
