Meghan Markle’s bratty side allegedly came out after she realized that she would never be as loved and respected as Kate Middleton.

When Markle first joined the royal family, she allegedly had an expectation that she would receive the same treatment that Middleton was receiving. But following an encounter with the Duchess of Cambridge’s staff, Markle realized that this wouldn’t be the case.

According to a source, Markle was very sensitive about being seen as number two to Middleton. Prince Harry’s wife also allegedly felt that she deserved the same attention that Middleton was getting from everyone.

While speaking with Globe, royal author Tom Quinn said that Markle wanted everyone to follow her orders because she was a princess. And she was also married to Prince Harry.

When she asked Middleton’s staff to do something for her and the staff refused, Markle allegedly became furious.

“She was seething over the staffer’s rebuff and felt she had been put in her place by someone far below her. She’s very sensitive about not being treated with the same respect she feels Kate is, so can react badly and doesn’t take it lying down,” Quinn said.

When Middleton found out about Markle’s encounter with her staff, she was allegedly horrified. Quinn said that the Duchess of Sussex was wrong to think that she was the queen bee and everyone had to bow down to her.

“That means that Kate will always be number one because her husband, William, is the oldest brother and next in line to be king behind their father, Charles. Kate is destined to become king. But Meghan is married Harry, who basically is a royal decoration like Charles’ brother Andrew,” the source said.

Middleton and Markle’s falling out reportedly started shortly after the Duchess of Sussex’s encounter with her sister-in-law’s staff. Since then, Middleton steered clear from Markle to avoid further problems.

While this was happening, Prince William and Prince Harry were also feuding with each other because of Markle. The tensions between the former Fab Four became so bad that they had to go their separate ways.

Before the Sussexes quit the royal family, they announced their decision to create their own foundation outside the Royal Foundation. Prior to Markle joining the royal family, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Middleton created the Royal Foundation.
