Ellie Goulding Dropped Her BRIGHTEST BLUE Star Studded Album: Stream It Now
The sun shines as bright as blue for the fans of Ellie Goulding.
The Love Me Like I Do hit-singer dropped her fresh from the studio Brightest Blue album on July 17. In an interview with USA Today, Goulding explained, "I wanted people to get to know me as a writer again," about her just-released album.
Brightest Blue is the British singer's fourth studio album, following Lights, Halcyon, Halcyon Days, and Delirium. The said album is a Polydor Records produced the album and initially set for release on June 5 but was deferred later due to the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus.
The 33-year-old singer's newest album includes 19 tracks, three of which set's the scene as the album's leading singles: Power, Slow Grenade, and Worry About Me.
Per Billboard, the album is "split into halves" that features Goulding's collaborations with distinguished artists, such as Lauv, blackbear, Juice WRLD, Swae Lee, and Diplo. The producer and writer list consist of Starsmith, Tobias Jesso Jr., Jim Eliot, ILYA, Chairlift's Patrick Wimberly, and serpentwithfeet.
The first set tracklist of Brightest Blue sings about being in love and heartache. It brings the message of honesty, like the track titled Flux, that tags along in melancholic piano accompaniment. Per Goulding, Flux is the saddest song she ever wrote.
The album's second half sings in a sensual and flirty tune like Close to Me, that features Diplo and Swae Lee, and trippy Hate Me featuring late rapper Juice WRLD. Per Goulding, the second part of the album is inspired by her superwoman alter persona that she wishes she was.

The Burn singer also revealed that there are no songs in the album that relates to her marriage with entrepreneur Caspang Jopling. The couple got married at England's Castle Howard last fall.
Goulding topped Billboard's various airplay charts in 2010 alongside winning The BRIT's Critics Choice Award in numerous successions.
In the span of Goulding's career, the British singer now has seven top-10 songs in the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart and a massive 20 billion streams across the globe. Songs like Burn, On My Mind, Lights, and Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack Love Me Like I Do, is what Goulding known of.
Also, Goulding is a dedicated advocate and philanthropist and was awarded the United Nation's New Voices Award in 2017. Shortly, the singer was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for U.N. Environment.
Meanwhile, Goulding and her husband, Jopling, are quarantined in the outskirts of London, per USA Today. The singer spends most of her time in nature walks, watching films, reading books, and baking.
