BTS' 'Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~' Japanese Album Unveiled: Stream

BTS marks another milestone as they released their most awaited 'Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~' Japanese album on Tuesday, July 14. The said album comes after the same year release of the septet’s ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ album in February.
'Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~' is the K-Pop idols’ first Japanese album in over two years and the fourth Japanese album in the span of their career.
The new album features a mixture of BTS over the years. The track list is inspired from their previous albums: 2020’s ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, 2018’s ‘Love Yourself: Answer’, and 2019’s ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’.
Nine tracks were reimagined into its Japanese versions, namely ‘Make It Right’, ‘Boy With Luv’, ‘ON’, ‘Dionysus’, ‘IDOL’, ‘FAKE LOVE’, ‘Airplane pt.2’, and ‘Black Swan’.
The pre-released track ‘Stay Gold’ serves as the album’s single that also comes with three additional original Japanese songs: ‘Intro: Calling’, ‘Your Eyes Tell’, and ‘OUTRO: The Journey’.
According to Billboard, the newest BTS album was simultaneously released with the fandom’s seventh year anniversary. To celebrate their seven years of full-support to all the seven lads, A.R.M.Y. posted a photo with BTS member and crooner Jin in the K-Pop idol’s Weverse handle.
In an article published by K-Pop dedicated website, KPOP REPORTER, referencing to Consequence of Sound report, a hard album is yet to be released next month, August 7. The hard-bound album includes additional tracks, a certified music video copy and behind the scenes video of COVID-19 motivational track ‘Stay Gold’.

Since the release of the all-boy K-Pop ensemble album in February, all seven lads were very busy in writing songs for their ninth album. However, further details about the matter has not been disclosed yet by Big Hit Entertainment.
In the past months, BTS member and rapper Suga has dropped his August D named solo mixtape entitled ‘D-2’. The mixtape comes after R.M. and J-hope’s release.
For the time being, BTS crooner and actor Taehyung a.k.a. V is rumored to be collaborating with fellow Wooga Squad member, Peakboy, for an upcoming music. Photos of the 24-year-old singer and Peakboy was posted by BTS’ official Twitter account and was quickly reposted by Peakboy. Fans were then very quick to speculate that V will be the fourth member of the septet to release a mixtape and the first from the band’s crooners.
