Meghan Markle reportedly received a bizarre title after dropping HRH from her name after Megxit.

According to The Sun, Markle’s title on Companies House, a registrar on companies in the United Kingdom, states that she’s a doctor. Before quitting The Firm in January, Markle was officially referred to as the HRH Duchess of Sussex.

But following the error, Prince Harry’s wife was listed as Dr. The Duchess of Sussex.

A spokesperson for the Companies House said that they will investigate the issue, which was most likely an error.

Still, several royal insiders were shocked to see Markle listed as a doctor on the website.

One of them said that she had to do a double-take when she saw Markle’s name listed as a doctor. Another insider said that Markle has been called a lot of things but the doctor isn’t one of them.

Weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines after their application to trademark Archewell foundation was rejected. According to sources, the royal couple wasn’t able to complete their application because they forgot to sign it.

According to New Idea, there are also claims suggesting that the application was too vague. And the royal couple didn’t also pay all the fees required to trademark the brand.

Prior to this, Prince Harry and Markle were thought to use the Sussex Royal Foundation even after their bombshell exit. However, Queen Elizabeth gave them the directive that they cannot use anything that mentions the word royal. After all, they are no longer considered as royals or working members of the British clan.

Since their Megxit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living their private lives in Los Angeles. Every now and then, they make video appearances from their home in Beverly Hill.
