Meghan Markle, allegedly, wrote a diary while she was still a senior working royal.

In her handwritten texts, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly wrote about her experiences like a royal and with Prince Harry’s family. Now, there are claims that Markle could release her diary and earn millions from it.

According to Woman UK, the possibility of Markle making her private diary public is making the royal family worry. And the fact that she wrote a memoir off what she wrote could make things worse for the British clan.

“The fact they may exist and could contain material to embarrass the royal family is enough to make anyone feel uncomfortable,” a source said.

Royal author Andrew Morton told the publication that news about Markle’s diary is a clear indication that she wants to tell her side of the story. Morton said that it’s possible for Markle to think that sharing the contents of her diary is the only way for the truth to come out.

Since she joined the royal family three years ago, Markle has already been plagued with countless criticisms. In fact, the media and her critics scrutinized her for every single thing that she did.

A source said that no one knows what Markle wrote exactly in her diary. And it is still unclear if she criticized the royal family in her private journal. But whatever it is that she wrote is enough to worry the members of the royal family.

“Meghan has always been a tremendous self-publicist. Her account of some of the more difficult times would worry everyone in the royal household,” the source said.

Royal author Ingrid Seward also said a similar thing. And Seward also said that Markle could earn a huge sum of money if her diary will be published.

“Michelle Obama got over $60 million for her book deal, and Meghan could double or triple that. I think she’ll hang out to write her own – making the royal household far more nervous,” she said.

Markle could also follow in the footsteps of Princess Diana. Her personal tape recordings were used by Morton in his book Diana: Her True Story – In Her Own Words. Today, Princess Diana’s memoir is still highly-talked about even though she’s not been around for over two decades.

However, there is still no confirmation regarding Markle’s alleged plans to publish her diary. And no one knows for sure if the diary really exists.
