Kourtney Kardashian Wants Her Daughter To Stay Away From Kris Jenner
The Kardashians have, reportedly, gone under the knife to retain their highly appealing outward appearances. On top of that, they have a reputation for going to any lengths to stay thin. Their unhealthy obsession with getting thin and undergoing frequent cosmetic procedures hasn't been hidden from fans.
One of the biggest drawbacks of being a member of a famous Kardashian-Jenner family is that they are always in the public eye and subject to their opinions, meaning, it is hard to keep major obsessions such as staying thin under wraps. A Redditor, known as HolyKimyeWest recently posted a compilation video on the KUWTK page on Reddit, asking other members of the subreddit if they have noticed that the Kardashians are obsessed with being skinny.
Four of the five Kardashian-Jenner sisters have daughters of their own now, but one Kardashian is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to keep her little girl from the family's obsessions with adopting unhealthy methods to continue looking good and remaining skinny.
Kourtney, the eldest of the Kardashians has three children Reign, Penelope, and Mason with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Scott Disick. She hasn't gone through as many cosmetic procedures as her sisters and promotes healthy living and positive body image.
The aforesaid Reddit thread featured a video montage. One user took to the comments section of the post, asking other Redditors if they recall a specific KUWTK episode when matriarch Kris Jenner asked Kourtney if she looked fat. Kourtney warned her mother of not using that word in front of her daughter. Kris replied with a sarcastic Ok, before laughing because Penelope was just three at the time.
After that episode, Kourtney opened up about that incident in an interview with Cosmopolitan. The beloved media personality noted that they tend to have several conversations without realizing that the kids are listening, adding that she doesn't want to start getting anybody self-conscious.
They cited a concept that suggests if the mother is confident about her body, the daughters are highly unlikely to have eating disorders. This wasn't the first time, Kris' behavior triggered self-consciousness with the Kardashian family.
Rob, Jenner's only son was bullied for gaining a noticeable amount of weight in the 2010s, but he completely disconnected himself from them. Kourtney, on the other hand, is rarely targeted by her mother's shaming tactics. Kourtney is reportedly fed up with her mother and the show and wants to deviate her focus on her family.
