Thandie Newton has a new celeb follower on her Instagram page. Katie Holmes has started following her on Insta after she allegedly shared her nightmarish experience of working with Tom Cruise.

The Batman Begins actress is one of the latest followers of the Norbit star on her Instagram page. This is big news as Newton had recently opened up about her “nightmare” when she worked with Holmes’ former spouse Cruise in Mission Impossible II. 

The First Daughter actress got married to the Top Gun actor in 2006 but parted ways from him just five years later in 2012. The exes share a 14-year-old daughter called Suri Cruise. 

The 41-year-old actress has only started following the 47-year-old Newton, last week. Many feel it was a step taken by Holmes after the other actress shared her not so pleasant working experience with Cruise in an interview given to Vulture last week. 

Newton had shared a vivid tale about how they spent their time while shooting for the film Mission Impossible II. The actress not only detailed an allegedly horrifying tale while working with Holmes’ ex but also mentioned why she refused Charlie’s Angels. 

The interviewer asked her why she was not seen in any of the film’s sequels. Newton gave a candid reply to the question and said that she was never offered any role after that.

Thandie Newton also revealed that she was extremely scared of Tom Cruise and had the feeling that the actor had a dominating personality. However, the actress opined that the Top Gun tries to be nice to everyone but he takes too much pressure. 

Following this interesting and tell-all interview, Katie Holmes added the actress to the list of the 707 Insta accounts she follows. The actress has around two million followers on her Instagram page, Daily Mail reports.  

The 41-year-old mother-of-one lives in New York City with her daughter after her high-profile divorce from Cruise. The duo dated for around two months and got engaged in 2005. 

They had a grand wedding ceremony in Italy, which was arranged by the controversial Church Of Scientology, a faith that Cruise worships devoutly. 

Reports have it that it was Cruise who controlled their marriage while Holmes was scared of actions by the Church Of Scientology after she filed a divorce petition against her then-husband.
