Prince Andrew Allegedly Welcome To Speak To FBI About Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein
Prince Andrew is, allegedly, welcome to speak to the FBI about Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
According to WHO, the Duke of York could shed more light on Maxwell’s involvement in Epstein’s sexual abuse case following her arrest.
However, Prince Andrew previously said that he was unaware of Epstein’s misconduct even though they’ve been friends since 1999.
Maxwell reportedly introduced the dad of two to Epstein over two decades ago. The royal’s alleged sexual abuse victim, Virginia Giuffre revealed during her interview with BBC that Maxwell was also the one that introduced her to Prince Andrew.
“In the car, Ghislaine tells me that I have to do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey and that just made me sick,” she said.
Prince Andrew also denied abusing Giuffre even after a photo of them with his arm wrapped around her waist made headlines.
Maxwell was arrested earlier this month after she went into hiding shortly after Epstein took his own life in his jail cell while awaiting trial in August of last year.
Prior to her arrest, Maxwell has been living in different areas to make sure that the FBI won’t find her. In fact, she went under a different name, and she also changed her contact number so that the FBI couldn’t trace her whereabouts.
But FBI New York’s assistant director William Sweeney said that they had already been keeping tabs on Maxwell for quite some time. In December, Epstein’s madam paid cash for an expensive property in Bradford.
“It’s understood Maxwell’s identity was protected because she’d bought the house through a company, Granite Realty LLC. The buyer was anonymous. It was always this mystery woman. I was like, ‘Is she an actress?’ No, but she’s certainly famous,” a source said.
Maxwell has been charged with four counts related to procuring and transporting minors for illegal acts, as well as two counts of perjury for statements she made during a deposition about her role in Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking operations.
“She enticed minor girls, got them to trust her, then delivered them into the trap that she and Epstein had set for them. She helped Epstein exploit girls who were as young as 14 years old,” Manhattan US Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a statement.
As of late, Prince Andrew hasn’t reacted to Maxwell’s arrest publicly. And it is still unknown what his next steps would be to clear his name.
