A report, last year, insisted that Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman met up to discuss their former husband Tom Cruise. Read on to know whether the story is true or not!

A year ago, a tabloid claimed that the Batman Begins actress and the Big Little Lies star met privately to discuss their former spouse Cruise. The speculations began when these two actresses visited Paris at the same time. 

While Kidman went to the French capital to attend Zoe Kravitz’s wedding, Holmes participated in an event in Disneyland Paris. The outlet contended that the Jack and Jill actress invited the Bombshell star and they spoke for many hours gossiping about the Top Gun star. 

An anonymous source told the publication that Holmes opened up to Kidman about why Cruise has hardly met their daughter Suri Cruise after the breakup. The controversial Church of Scientology could have been responsible for the actor not meting his daughter for such a long time, the outlet purported.

The insider further contended that Holmes said she planned to meet her former spouse to have a fresh custody settlement in place. However, Kidman told her to apply caution while embarking upon such a step.

The dubious source added that Kidman could realize what Holmes was going through. It seems Katie Holmes told Nicole Kidman it was great to finally be in touch with her as only she would understand what the Jack and Jill actress had gone through. The dubious tipster concluded by telling that the pair decided to be in touch and made an understanding to make sure “history doesn’t repeat itself.”

It looks unlikely that such a meeting ever took place between these two talented actresses. Gossip Cop claims they contacted Holmes’ spokesperson and were intimated that the story was false.

There was another ridiculous story last year about Kidman suffering from a break-down because her two adopted kids she shares with Tom Cruise embraced Scientology. The story also claimed Kidman tried to “heal” by having kids with her current husband Keith Urban. 

However, even this story was false. After all, the Bombshell actress has supported the decision of her two adopted children in the past. 

In other related news, a report claims that Holmes got in touch with Kidman who was Cruise’s second wife. It seems the two actresses have been in contact since 2006 when the Dawson’s Creek actress got married to the Top Gun star.
