Meghan Markle was, allegedly, caught in another drug scandal that doesn’t exactly involve her.

National Enquirer published a story on Meghan Markle with the misleading headline two years ago. Upon closer inspection, the story is about her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., and an alleged secret sister.

The publication claimed that Markle’s secret sister, Lori, is a meth addict. Though she isn’t biologically related to the Duchess of Sussex, Lori became like a daughter to Thomas while he was in Mexico.

Jose Sandoval, Lori’s boyfriend, told the tabloid that she took drugs every day.

“I’ve seen her smoking crystal meth a lot of times. I warned him, ‘This is what she’s like,’” he said.

Lori also has a daughter named Jocelyn, who was like a granddaughter to Thomas. The young girl called Thomas Uncle Grandpa.

According to the tabloid, Lori was with Thomas when he suffered a stroke just before Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding. But after he started giving them gifts, Lori started taking advantage of his generosity.

After loaning $6,000 from Thomas, Lori decided to cut ties with him so that she wouldn’t have to pay him back. Lori also seemingly forgot Thomas’s birthday.

“The last time Tom saw Lori and spoke to her was when he gave her the money. Tom is a great guy, but he’s lonely. To Lori, he was like a sugar daddy. He’s lost Meghan and now he’s lost Lori, too. But he’s worried about her – just like he’s worried for Meghan,” the source said.

Finally, the tabloid mentioned the Suits alum in their dubious story considering that their headline was about her.

“Meghan’s already livid about her family’s loose lips, but she can’t believe her father would associate with a known drug addict. It’s reckless beyond belief and only makes the rift between them wider. Meghan loves her dad, but she thought he was more streetwise than to be taken for a fool by a desperate druggie,” the source said.

Since Thomas and Lori are no longer friends, the tabloid claimed that the former lighting director is leaning on a new pal. Thomas is allegedly friends with a drag queen named Rachel.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Markle was not caught in another drug scandal because the matter doesn’t involve her.

And it is also unclear what Thomas and Lori’s real relationship was like.
