Reports have it that Brad Pitt and his former wife Jennifer Aniston share good rapport now after they parted ways fifteen years ago. It seems the actor regretted his harsh words spoken in the past against Jen.

While Pitt and Jen seem to be close friends now, there have been reports that the actor’s apology to his former wife did the trick. The 56-year-old Hollywood A-lister reportedly spoke about the Friends alum in less than generous terms after their divorce in 2005. 

It is also said that Aniston was unhappy with an interview given by her former husband in 2011 where he reportedly had to say some unpleasant things about her. The Troy actor was still in a relationship with Angeline Jolie when he discussed his marriage to The Morning Show Star and allegedly made some derogatory statements. 

Although Jen and Pitt were considered to be a “golden couple” of Hollywood while they were married, the actor’s words gave a different impression altogether. He told an outlet how tired he used to get while “sitting on the couch”

Brad Pitt even said he felt pathetic and thought his marriage was responsible for the way he felt. However, he reportedly decided to revisit his earlier remarks and even clarified that he did not intend to give the impression that Jennifer Aniston was boring.

There were criticisms from some quarters as the interview went viral after a few years. Pitt came up with a statement, which perhaps built the bridge and they became close friends once again. The Fight Club actor complimented his former wife stating that she was a “generous, loving, and hilarious woman” and is still his friend.

He further explained he did not intend to give the impression that his ex-wife was boring. Rather, it was he who was getting boring and held himself responsible for that. 

There seemed to be a thaw in their relationship when Pitt was invited at Jen’s fiftieth birthday bash. Also, the manner in which the pair greeted each other at this year’s SAG Awards made many optimistic about the possibility of their reconciliation, Mirror.co.uk reports.

In other news, Aniston has opened up about her marriage to Pitt and said that they did not have a “perfect” relationship contrary to how the media projected. Jen gave a tell-all interview where Oprah Winfrey asked her about her fans’ obsession with her marriage to Pitt.

The hostess said that fans were not only obsessed about her marriage to the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor but also their divorce. So, when things did not work out, the actress could be thinking that she was in trouble, Express.co.uk reports. 

The actress responded by saying that the image of their perfect marriage was totally created by the media. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston parted ways in 2005 after being married for five years.
