Morena Baccarin Is Awaiting The Creators Of 'Deadpool 3' To Approach
American-Brazilian actress Morena Baccarin is popular for her portrayal in Deadpool. Recently, the actress shared some news regarding the third installment which might disappoint Deadpool fans a little. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Deadpool 3 to premiere on the big screens since Disney purchased Fox in 2019.
While Ryan Reynolds confirmed that the third installment of Deadpool is under development, the 41-year-old actress disclosed that no one has approached her yet. The first two installments of Deadpool got released under Fox banner and both the movies were a huge success at the box office while it released with R-rating.
Since Disney took over Fox, fans started to discuss how Disney will incorporate Deadpool in their family-friendly content policy. During the buyout, Marvel had no intention to release Deadpool 3 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 and that's the reason why the movie was not announced by Marvel in 2019.
It seemed to look at the popularity of the immortal superhero, Marvel had to plan to take Deadpool 3 seriously. Reynolds announced long back that he received permission from Marvel to initiate the project while the R-rating will stay for individual movies.
There is no official announcement about which character from the last two installments will appear in the third one. However, Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin are highly anticipated to return as Domino and Cable characters.
Baccarin who portrays the love interest of Reynolds in the film has no clue if she will be involved in the project. In an interview, she mentioned that no one had spoken with her regarding the third installment of the franchise and the team has not completed the scripting.
The actress told candidly when asked about her appearance, “I have no idea. Apparently, they’re still writing it. I genuinely don’t know. I have not been asked, or approached. There’s been no conversations yet, so I’m waiting with bated breath.”
Looking at the bright side, Reynolds is working on the script with his team but the sad news for the fans is that no one is ready to reveal that when the scripting will finish. It seems that filming will take a long time as ongoing coronavirus pandemic is another reason for no movies to begin the shooting process.
The 43-year-old actor has not commented on anything that Baccarin had mentioned in the interview, which keeps fans wondering if she will be replaced or continue playing the superhero's love interest.
