Jennifer Aniston, previously, blamed the media for creating an image that her relationship with Brad Pitt was perfect.

During her interview with Oprah Winfrey on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the host talked about the public’s obsession with her and Pitt.

Winfrey said that the public is obsessed with the A-listers’ marriage and divorce. And this is because Aniston and Pitt represented the picture of the wedding cake.

As such, there was so much pressure on the couple to make their marriage work. And when it didn’t, Winfrey wondered if Aniston blamed herself for its demise.

The Friends actress said that the media is the one that created the image that what she and Pitt had was perfect. However, Aniston said that this wasn’t necessarily the case.

While Aniston understands why it’s easy for their fans to believe what they see on television, she reminded them that they don’t see what is happening behind closed doors.

“It’s not real. It’s just not real. You’re human beings having a human experience and there’s nothing different except that you’re exposed to the world as a public person. But your personal life, your personal feelings, your heart, your success, your pain, your everything, is the same as anybody else’s,” she said.

The Morning Show actress also gave a savage response to the tabloids that continue to write dubious stories about her and Pitt.

She encouraged the readers of the tabloids to move on and turn a page.

Aniston and Pitt have been divorced since 2005, but they continue to make headlines. This week, New Idea claimed that the exes are buying an island in Australia.

There’s no concrete reason why Aniston and Pitt are allegedly buying the island. But the tabloid published the story to continue creating ties between the exes.

However, more reputable sources have been adamant at saying that Aniston and Pitt are just friends. They never got back together after their divorce, and by the looks of it, they never will.

Weeks ago, a source also revealed that Pitt already apologized to Aniston for all his wrongdoings during their relationship.

Years ago, rumors swirled that the former couple divorced because of Angelina Jolie. After all, the split happened shortly after Pitt and Jolie worked together in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

However, Aniston, Pitt, and Jolie have all denied that the latter had something to do with the end of their five-year marriage.
