Princess Diana, reportedly, kept a huge secret from Prince Charles while she was pregnant with Prince Harry.

In the book, Diana: Her True Story, royal author Andrew Morton shared details from his conversations with the Princess of Wales.

He said that Princess Diana didn’t tell Prince Charles that she was pregnant with a boy after seeing the scan herself. After all, Princess Diana knew that Prince Charles wanted to have a daughter.

Prince Charles reportedly had a heartbreaking reaction to Prince Harry’s birth. After seeing that he was a boy, Princess Diana noticed that her husband lacked enthusiasm compared to when Prince William was born.

This tragic story was spun by tabloids to create an even bigger and more dramatic storyline about Prince Harry. National Enquirer claimed that the Duke of Sussex always felt that he was unloved and unwanted. And he also knew that Prince William was his parents’ favorite child.

“They were raised to be the closest of brothers, but Harry’s painfully aware who was the favorite. William was born to be king while Harry believes he was only brought into the world to be the royal spare – to step in to secure the future of the monarchy if something happened to William,” the source said.

Meghan Markle’s husband was also convinced that his parents didn’t want him as much as they wanted Prince William because they were already fighting when he was conceived.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince Harry has never said anything about being an unwanted child. And he never said anything about his feud with Prince William starting when they were kids.

Royal fans are aware that the royal siblings had a falling out shortly after Prince Harry and Markle started dating. Prince William convinced Prince Harry to not rush into marriage, and this suggestion didn’t sit well with Archie’s dad.
