Blake Shelton Allegedly Asked Gwen Stefani To Leave ‘The Voice’ To Prevent Their Fights
Blake Shelton, allegedly, asked Gwen Stefani to quit The Voice two years ago to focus on their relationship.
According to Life & Style, Shelton and Stefani have good chemistry at home. But whenever they are on the show, they tend to bicker with each other. As professionals, Shelton and Stefani take their careers seriously so they tend to have disagreements on the reality TV show.
Since Shelton has been in The Voice far longer than Stefani, he allegedly asked his girlfriend to quit. Stefani agreed because she didn’t want to put their relationship at risk.
But just recently, the No Doubt singer announced that she will be returning to The Voice in the fall. This time around, tabloids are claiming that the mom of three will be back to keep an eye on Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.
The American Idol winner is allegedly leaning on Shelton after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock and Stefani is not happy. However, it is important to note that these are just dubious claims made by the tabloid to attract readership.
Stefani, Shelton, and Clarkson are good friends. And they will be working together in the upcoming season of The Voice.
Meanwhile, there have also been several other rumors about the couple and the hit NBC reality TV show. In February 2018, Radar Online claimed that Stefani was coming in between Shelton and the executives of the show.
An unnamed source claimed that Stefani was the one causing the bad blood between Shelton and the execs. And things allegedly escalated after the execs wanted to replace Stefani with Miley Cyrus.
Last year, the same tabloid claimed that Shelton wanted to give up his gig as a mentor because Stefani is no longer a part of the show. But the same tabloid also claimed that the country singer was going to propose to Stefani on The Voice. Unfortunately, the proposal has never happened.
Gossip Cop has also been adamant at debunking all the rumors surrounding the couple and The Voice in years. Shelton didn’t quit The Voice, and he’s the only original mentor that’s still on the show.
He and Stefani aren’t also having problems in their relationship. And Stefani didn’t come in between Shelton and the execs of The Voice.
Stefani and Shelton have yet to get engaged as well. And the former said that if and when the engagement takes place, she will confirm it to her fans.
