"I’m sorry we didn’t take more pictures together,” Lovato wrote. “but I have so many memories to make me smile until we meet again someday. Rest easy,” she added. The tribute Lovato posted is a slideshow photo of his loving grandfather along with a heart-touching caption, all for her Grandpa Perry.
Grandpa Perry passed the morning of July 1st and Lovato’s fans cannot contain their concern about the singer’s state. “Sending love and blessings to you and ur family sis....lpve you all,” @daveophilly commented. While one fan commented, “sending so much love and light to you and your family ... we’re all thinking of u.” Among the comments were from Lovato’s mother and boyfriend, Max Ehrich.
According to the Disney alum, Grandpa Perry has been suffering an old age sickness four a couple of years now and she is quite relieved that her Grandpa will no longer linger the pain. The singer also expressed how the current pandemic hinders her and her family to arrange a proper funeral and bid their goodbyes. Demi remembered her Grandpa as a man who loved God “FIERCELY” who she considers as one of the best gospel preachers she ever knew.
Perry comes from the Grammy nominee’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, who payed tribute to his father on her own Instagram account. Dianna remembers her father describing him as the best dad in the whole world.
Meanwhile, amid the surge of coronavirus in the U.S., the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer has been in quarantine together with his boyfriend Ehrich. As Billboard reported, Lovato shared photos with Ehrich just last week as they marked his 29th year of existence. Max Ehrich starred in the films The Young and Restless; and has been spotted and rumored to be dating Lovato back in March [Harpers Bazaar], since then, the duo constantly appears on each other’s social media accounts.
