Reports have it that Katie Holmes and her former boyfriend Jamie Foxx secretly split last year only a few weeks after they appeared together at a red carpet event together. 

If reports are to be believed, Foxx and Holmes have broken up after dating each other for six years in May 2019. The celeb couple decided to part ways a few weeks after they made their debut together at the red carpet of Met Gala last year. 

 

The 41-year-old actress started dating the 52-year-old Django Unchained star in 2013 just a year after her split from former spouse Tom Cruise. The Dawson’s Creek actress and her alleged boyfriend kept their romance secret but eventually attended a red carpet event together, Mirror.co.uk reports. 

 

However, an outlet reported that the duo has broken up. Their breakup news started doing rounds after photographs of the Oscar award-winning actor with a singer called Sela were out on the public domain. Speculations were rife that Foxx cheated on The Batman Begins actress. 

 

An insider told Page Six they heard the actress telling her pal at a restaurant that whatever Foxx is doing, it is his business. She also told her friend that they have parted months ago.

 

The former couple had reportedly been in a relationship since 2013. Both Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were extremely tight-lipped about their romance in the beginning. They allegedly met up at hotels at night and secretly exited through back entrances to stay away from media and unwanted attention. 

 

However, the actors could not conceal their relationship from their fans or press for long. The same website further insisted another insider told them that the relationship between the two came to an end in May 2019, some weeks after they were spotted together at the Met Gala. 

 

It was in 2018 when The First Daughter actress and the Just Mercy star appeared at a public event for the first time. The pair attended the Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Gala in New York City. However, they grabbed the eyeballs after attending Met Gala.

 

Reports also claimed that the pair confirmed their relationship after secretly dating for many years. The Jack and Jill actress looked gorgeous in a purple dress designed by Zac Posen at the red carpet event. Foxx looked dapper too in a black suit and grape-colored shoes. 

 

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were also seen together in September 2017 when they walked hand-in-hand along a sea beach at Malibu. This was just five years after she and Tom Cruise parted ways.
