Princess Beatrice, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi Allegedly Want Harry, Meghan’s Vacated Positions, Old Home
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are allegedly eyeing two things from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s past.
According to New Idea, the royal couple is trying to convince Queen Elizabeth to give them Prince Harry and Markle’s vacated positions.
Before their bombshell exit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were performing tons of royal duties on behalf of the monarch. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, is not considered as a senior working royal.
Other than the royal couple’s interest in the Sussexes’ vacated positions, the tabloid also claimed that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi want to relocate to Frogmore Cottage. The property was gifted by the queen to Prince Harry and Markle after their royal wedding.
Even though they are no longer working for The Firm, the Sussexes still own Frogmore Cottage. In fact, they have vowed to pay back the taxpayers’ money that was used to refurbish the property so that they could retain ownership.
Since Frogmore Cottage remains unoccupied, the tabloid claimed that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi want to move into the property tentatively or even permanently.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. After all, even New Idea claimed that the royal couple might relocate to Italy after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.
The contradicting statements made by the tabloid suggest that their claims are unfounded and are therefore incorrect. The tabloid’s headline that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi replaced Prince Harry and Markle are also misleading. After all, they haven’t replaced the Sussexes in any way.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after they received devastating news from Botswana.
According to Hello! magazine, 360 elephants were found dead across parts of the South African country. As of late, the cause of death hasn’t been determined.
While speaking with BBC News, National Park Rescue director of conservation, Dr. Niall McCann said that the mass deaths were brought to their attention for the first time in May.
During a three-hour flight, 169 dead elephants were seen. And a month later, further investigation revealed that over 300 elephants have passed on.
“This is totally unprecedented in terms of numbers of elephants dying in a single event unrelated to drought,” he said.
Prince Harry and Markle haven’t released a statement following the tragic deaths of the elephants. But Botswana holds a special place for the royal couple. They have also been involved in charities that help prevent elephants from being poached and killed.
