United States President Donald Trump has stated that the country will not pay for the security protection of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  Is this a revenge move against the royals who have come to settle in the United States?

This statement was made by Trump himself on his Twitter account. This is his reaction to the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left Canada and have made their way into the United States. It was reported last week that Prince Harry and Meghan left Canada and it looks like they are want to move to California. 

Tom Leonard from the Daily Mail says that the president's statement may have something to do with the insults he has received from the former royal couple. In 2016, actress Meghan Markle said that Trump was misogynistic and divisive, and if elected that she might just have to stay in Canada and no longer come back to the United States. 

The Duke of Sussex meanwhile, has said that the POTUS has blood in his hands for his role in the coal industry in America. Could this be the reason for the President's refusal? This is despite the fact that he calls himself a friend of Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. 

The former royal couple though, who can no longer use HRH in their titles, are quick to release a statement that they have no plans to ask for the help of the US government for their security costs. Apparently, they have already arranged their own security. 

The security costs are one of the things that are unclear regarding Harry and Meghan's intention to step back from their royal duties. It looks like they will be using their own money for their security as most of the security provided for the royals is funded by the taxpayers' money. 

Meanwhile, there are still no reports where Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie are going to settle. Some are saying that they will be in Hollywood, while there are people saying they are looking for a place in Beverly Hills. 

It seems that they will make the USA their base for the time being, which would not be hard for Meghan given that she grew up in the country. They also have plenty of friends in the area, and if Meghan is looking to restart her Hollywood career, it would be better if they were based in LA.
