Following the outing, Woman’s Day penned a dubious story about the former president urging the Ocean’s Eleven actor to run for president.

George has allegedly been complaining about the state of America and the entire world for a long time. And Barack allegedly encouraged the actor to finally do something about his complaints.

The Up In Air star was initially eyeing the run for president in the 2024 elections. But Barack allegedly encouraged him to run for this year’s election instead.

However, one year has already passed and George has never filed for candidacy. In fact, the actor has been adamant at saying that he has no interest to run for president.

While promoting Our Brand Is Crisis in 2015, George revealed that he has been asked about his alleged presidential bid for the past 20 years. The actor said that his answer every time is no, and it will remain as such.

George also said that he doesn’t want to live the life of a politician because he thinks it’s just hell.

But after Donald Trump won the elections in 2016, George’s response to the rumors seemingly confused his supporters.

“Would I like to be the next President? Oh, that sounds like fun,” he joked.

However, it is important to note that George’s statement was just a joke. And if he was really interested in running for president, he should have already filed his candidacy.

According to Gossip Cop, George has also been largely silent on the upcoming elections. Case in point, he hasn’t endorsed a Democratic candidate. And by the looks of it, he won’t be endorsing anyone.

Meanwhile, there have been several other rumors surrounding the Money Monster actor. Woman’s Day previously claimed that he was getting flirty with Brie Larson.

There were also claims that Meghan Markle was considering her presidential bid for the 2024 elections, and she’s allegedly asking George for advice.

Other tabloids have also been claiming that George and Amal is struggling in their marriage. After all, George is allegedly threatened by his wife’s strong personality.

However, one should take these claims with a grain of salt. George and Amal’s relationship is going strong. And the couple is happy to be quarantining together with their twins, Ella and Alexander.
