Brad Pitt was a married man when he met Angelina Jolie and was head over heels with the actress. Rumors have it that Jolie threw an intimate BBQ at her Brentwood home and called the actor at her place just after a month of the start of the shooting. 

 

As the Friends sitcom was finally about to end in 2005, the actor’s then-wife Jennifer Aniston had plans of spending the year touring with him and trying to start their family. However, those dreams soon came to an end when the Troy actor was paired opposite the Maleficent actress in the spy thriller Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

 

It was reportedly the beginning of the end of the actor’s marriage to Aniston. Although both Angie and Pitt had acknowledged that they fell in love while shooting together, they have always refused of having an affair while Pitt was married. 

 

Sources from the set though maintain that the former couple’s chemistry was evident from the beginning. It was also reported that a month after the start of the film’s shooting in 2004, Jolie supposedly arranged for an intimate barbecue at her Brentwood mansion where Pitt was invited and he stayed back at her place. 

 

Angie allegedly caught the flu from Pitt many weeks later and a publication insisted the latter sent her a big bouquet with an adorable note. However, despite Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s never-ending romance speculations, the Friends alum and the Fight Club star looked happy at the premiere of his 2004 film Troy at Los Angeles. 

 

They were again spotted together at the Emmy’s in September 2004. Jen appeared to be blissfully ignorant of what was allegedly happening at her back. She spoke to an outlet about how she was looking forward to renovating their dream house and have babies.

 

The Morning Show actress confessed of her desire to become a mom soon during the interview, Mirror.co.uk reports. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and she was devastated when her marriage to Pitt collapsed in 2005. 

 

Meanwhile, when Angelina Jolie filed a divorce petition from the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star in September 2016, their fans were stunned. Just after their announcement to split, speculations were rife that the actor had a relationship with an Academy Award-winning French actress. 

 

Rumors had it that the Hollywood hunk was dating French actress Marion Cotillard right after his split from Jolie. However, Pitt was mostly noncommittal to any questions raised by the media at that time. 

 

On the other hand, the actress decided to deal with these rumors and defended her name at that time. Cotillard took to social media when the gossip started to circulate and tried to clear the air. 

 

Marion Cotillard made it extremely clear that she was happy with her then-beau Guillaume Canet and was not dating Brad Pitt. She already had a child with her partner then and was pregnant with a second, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
