Keith Urban Celebrates The Birth Of Maren Morris' First Baby
Keith Urban is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to celebrate the birth of his friend Maren Morris' first child, Hayes Andrew Hurd. US-based country singer Maren and her husband - also a country music singer - Ryan Hurd welcomed a baby boy into the world on Monday, Mar. 23.
Keith identified Maren's talent and helped propel her career straight to stardom by inviting the young crooner onto his Ripcord world tour back in 2016. During an interview with Harper's BAZAAR, Urban admitted that he loved her voice, the first time he heard it, New Idea reported.
"Loved her voice. Loved her songwriting, the sound of the record." Urban told the popular YouTube channel that focuses on fashion trends, beauty inspiration, skincare, culture and more. He went as far as saying that she had particular artistry, which was unlike any other singer. It was hardly surprising that he immediately wanted to take Maren out on tour.
Maren took to her official Instagram account on Mar. 23 to share awe-inspiring pictures of her baby boy. "Hayes Andrew Hurd. Love of our lives," the show wrote in the post. In one of her earlier Instagram posts, the singer announced that she was in labor for 30 hours before an unplanned emergency c-section had to be carried out.
The new parents can barely contain their joy, thanks to the latest entrant in their lives. After enduring a difficult birth process that comprised an arduous 30 hours of labor, the singer quickly learned that planning to bring a human into the world is nothing short of a fool’s errand. Nevertheless, she's happy that he arrived safely into the world.
Amid all these challenges, a report from Good Morning America points out that Hayes was born in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Maren was understandably concerned about bringing her baby into the world amid a global health crisis; however, things went well without any sort of complications.
Morris appreciated the health care professionals that made it possible for her to deliver her child without any sort of complications. She pointed out that these professionals risk their health daily to ensure everyone else's was okay, she wrote.
The singer ended her post by expressing her recently discovered respect for mothers worldwide. "I had NO idea how hard it could be," she wrote in her post, adding that she's mere four days in. The world is changing, she noted, stating that so is she.
